Hello, fellow Ellies, and welcome to the board! While threads on here are welcome for all members to post, we have rules in place to keep our forum a safe and welcome place to post. If you violate the commenting policy, you won't necessarily have your comment/s removed or be banned, as we do enjoy engaging with idiots. However, I post these here that should you do something despicable and we don't want you around anymore, we have the right to censor you. Yup, that's right, censorship! We're the fascists your parents warned you about.
1. Abusive language. Profanity in and of itself is absolutely fine! We love calling people pigfucks and limp dick nonces as much as the next Ellie. However, if this language is being used in an attempt to intimidate or silence another user, we reserve the right to remove said comment, or edit it to make you look silly. If you continue to do this and people are uncomfortable with you, you will have your account banned.
2. Advocacy or threats of violence. Any comment that threatens violence against others or advocates that someone be subjected to violence (including that they should do violence unto themselves) will be removed and your account likely banned. This goes for doxxing as well (releasing personal information about other users without their consent).
3. Ad hominem insults. If all you're here for is to insult people, again, that's fine. We enjoy a bit of banter! But know that if you get annoying we will a) edit your post, b) delete your comments and/or c) ban your account.
4. Racism, sexism, "happy person"phobia, transphobia, xenophobia, anti-Semitism. If your comments contain any of these things or other slurs similar to these, depending on how offensive they actually are, you will either be mocked or deleted and banned. This includes comments that smack of veiled slurs but don't use them exactly.
6. Anything else our moderators or users deem disruptive. I think this one is self-explanatory and covers everything else. If you're being a poop, then we reserve the right to poop all over you in the form of post-editing, deletion and/or banning.
Keep in mind that this PROBABLY won't happen. But just in case you cross the line, we're covering our bases. Thank you!
